Story Behind the Song: Joe's words: Ron and I wrote the music for this in rehearsal pretty much in one night. This is a song I always feel compelled to apologize for lyrically, although I don't know how I could have made it any clearer at the time that it was *satire*, not political advocacy! For the record, it's a parody of right-wing radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh, not a reactionary screed, and it annoys me to this day that some people misinterpret it! Ah well, such is life.
