Lyrics
|
There’s a fog that lifts from my mind
Coursing through the nerves of a man
The day will come when everything will go
Along the paths I’ve set
Time healing wounds and soothing words of comfort heal the pain
New adventures set me off again
They are telling me I have to keep going on
New reflections start life once again
I hear the voices call me again lifting me away from this strife
The only constant freedom I have taking the pain away from this life
Time healing wounds and soothing words of comfort heal the pain
New adventures set me off again
They are telling me I have to keep going on
New reflections start life once again
There’ll come a time!

Description
|
Story Behind the Song: Joe's words: Ron's lyrics for this one is unusually optimistic for Secret Passage, and contrasts quite a bit with the Kurt Cobain-style angst that Notch and I were mainly writing at the time. We spent a long time on the arrangement for this song, and I still very much enjoy the interplay on the extended instrumental outtro.
